Continuing Design Education Classes

CNC Classes

2D CNC Design Fundamentals
Meets twice a week for 3 weeks $600

This class teaches the fundamentals of CNC Machining and CAM Programming using V Carve Pro

Students will learn:

2 1/2 axis cutting,
V Carving w images
importing CAD from external sources
understanding feeds and speeds
why to choose specific bits for different types of toolpaths and materials

Advanced CNC 3D Cutting Techniques
Meets twice a week for 2 weeks $400

This class teaches advanced CNC Machining methods. Students must already have 3D CAD experience. This class covers how to use V Carve Pro to create 3D toolpaths

Students will learn:

3 axis cutting hold down methods
rough cutting and finish cutting toolpaths
Double sided registration methods

CAD Classes

Rhino Fundamentals Class
Meets twice a week for 6 weeks $600

The class offers a basic understanding of the tools and principles behind 3D modeling using comprehensive assignments. Students will explore 3D computer modeling techniques from solid modeling to surface modeling and sub D forms.

There are homework assignments in this course.

Rhino Sub D Modeling Class
Meets 3hrs for 3 Days $450

This class teaches the basic tools of sub D modeling and converting to polysurfaces, We will also look at shrink wrap and some of the more advanced tools in rhino like surface analysis and shrink wrap.

This is a fast track course and does not include assignments.

Fusion 360 Fundamentals
Meets 2hrs for 5 days

This class teaches the basic tools of parametric solid modeling in Fusion 360, how to create drawings, and file management.
